Access All Areas: Veritas Catro III back from NCOC MAC scope
The fast crew boat, Veritas Catro III has now returned to home port in Bautino, Kazakhstan, having completed a successful charter with Semarco-Van Oord (SKSMS). From July, the vessel provided logistics and crew change support for the Marine Access Channels (MAC) construction works in Kahsagan, Kazakhstan for NCOC. The MAC will mitigate for falling Caspian Sea levels and allow for safe passage of deeper vessels to project areas. Now laid-up for the winter, the Veritas Catro III will undergo preventative maintenance and be ready for continued operations in 2022.
Veritas Catro III is a Damen-built Fast Crew Supplier reaches speeds of 29knots and provides seating for up to 29 client personnel. For the charter, both the crew and vessel have been subject to special COVID-19 protocols in preparing for and executing the scope of work. All Veritas Marine offshore personnel are now 100% vaccinated.
