AKTAU, KAZAKHSTAN – In July, Veritas Marine were pleased to confirm the continued provision of Self Elevating Platforms (SEPs) in Kazakhstan on a multi-year extension. This comes with the renewal of the contract with North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC) of two Combifloat C7 Self Elevating Platforms; Veritas Pearl and C-728.  

Veritas Pearl is engaged as a platform for diving and seabed levelling tasks in the North Caspian Project area and other NCOC assets. The unit is configured to include deluxe accommodation including Starlink satellite broadband internet, Thrustmaster positioning equipment, a 20-man H2S Temporary Refuge, and additional power generation for client equipment. 

C-728 is a specialised unit, equipped for year-round operations in the north Caspian Sea, including ice-class notation and unique heating systems. With shallow draft and variable platform height, she is deployed on Roll-On Roll-Off (RORO) of project cargoes, in addition to essential emergency response and seabed levelling.

This renewal reinforces Veritas Marine's partnership with Combifloat Systems BV, as the OEM of the C7 class of SEPs. Combifloat will continue to provide full advisory and technical support in a truly collaborative effort to ensure maximum value and best outcomes for the project stakeholders.
