Full Steam Ahead: Veritas Catro III revives role as Crew Transfer Vessel
After a two year hiatus, Veritas Catro III is back on charter supporting an offshore geotechnical survey campaign in Kashagan.
The Damen-built craft, capable of speeds of 29 knots with 29 client personnel on board, is ideally suited for transfer of survey personnel between accommodation platform and survey units. "With additional role as medevac vessel on the spread, she has a key role in ensuring effective and safe operations for the survey work," added Veritas Marine QHSE Manager Ivan Trushkin.
Established in 2002, Veritas Marine provides vessels for charter and other marine services in the Caspian Sea, notably in the oil & gas and construction sectors.
The North Caspian Project is the first major offshore oil and gas development in Kazakhstan. It covers three fields: Kashagan, Kairan and Aktoty.
