A New Role: Veritas Pearl secured for a long-term charter with NCOC
North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC) have engaged the services of the Veritas Pearl on a multi-year contract. The vessel will be deployed on diving and seabed levelling tasks in the North Caspian Project area and around NCOC assets. In preparation for the scope, Veritas Marine have reconfigured the vessel to include Thrustmaster positioning equipment, a 20-man H2S Temporary Refuge, additional power generation, upgraded accommodation and a workboat. "Diving inspections and interventions, as well as seabed levelling, are important parts of the maintenance of NCOC production and we are proud the Veritas Pearl can participate in a such an interesting role", Veritas Marine's Director Marat Salmenov explained.
Veritas Pearl is a Combifloat C7 Self-Elevating Platform suitable for all manner of applications in the north Caspian Sea.
Established in 2002, Veritas Marine provides vessels for charter and other marine services in the Caspian Sea, notably in the oil & gas and construction sectors.
The North Caspian Project is the first major offshore oil and gas development in Kazakhstan. It covers three fields: Kashagan, Kairan and Aktoty.
